Some of you may have heard about this already, but apparently there is a YouTuber planning on doing a Tumblr raid of the Reylo tag. We were notified of this on anon, which you can see here:
For those who don’t know what a Tumblr raid is, it’s basically when someone spams the tag with offensive/disturbing images, and/or unrelated content which can be done with troll accounts, or it could be astroturfing fake discourse to cause drama.
As you can see, there aren’t any specifics given, so unfortunately we don’t know when this will happen or if it will happen at all. And since we don’t know the nature of these posts, as they could be very offensive or disturbing in nature, it’s best to stay on the safe side and let people know ahead of time. There’s not much we can do about this, other than avoid the tag for a bit, and tag everything as Reylo, so we can hopefully block out these potentially offensive/disturbing posts.
Antis, I’m also tagging this in your tag so that you can keep yourselves safe as well. I know that sometimes our posts shows up for you due to glitches and the like, so please make sure you are searching your tag with the hashtag in front (#anti reylo) or, make sure you have the tab selected for “tagged,” like this:
That way you don’t see any potentially offensive/disturbing images or posts that end up in our tag as a result of the raid.
