Object Class: Safe Euclid

Containment Procedures: SCP-240 is to be contained inside a standard humanoid cell in Research Center-012. Subject is almost always compliant and submissive in nature; however, it is recommended that when moved, SCP-240 be sedated to avoid panic and distress with subject while also preventing any harm coming to any personnel.  

Subject is to be fed twice a day in the morning at 7:30am and then in the evening at 6:00pm. Food is to be strictly of protein and essential nutrients; do not, under any circumstances, give SCP-240 human food no matter how much it tries to persuade personnel to feed it candy or sweets of any kind. If any personnel is to feed SCP-240, they will effective immediately be terminated. Relaxing medication is required to be put into SCP-240s food and failure to do so will result in a red mark.

SCP-240 can communicate with any english speaking personnel and seems to want to interact with those outside the containment cell. Only those of Level 3 clearance or higher are allowed to interact and/or talk with SCP-240. Entering SCP-240 containment requires at least two Level 3 personnels, along with four security officers. If SCP-240 is seemingly agitated, a task force operative or operatives is required. Any and all interactions/incidents involving SCP-240 is required to be documented and saved; failure to do so with result in two red marks.

Description: SCP-240 is a humanoid entity that is 1.77 meters tall and weighing 79 kilograms. SCP-240 looks like a regular human male in their late 20s, with light brown hair and brown eyes. Subject, when captured, lived in ******* under the name ‘******’ and appeared to have a normal human life until it started videos that showed that of SCP-240-001, SCP-240-002, SCP-240-003, SCP-240-004, and SCP-240-005.

SCP-240 claimed that these were imaginary and tried convincing personnel that they were not real; when SCP-240 was threatened, however, both SCP-240-002 and SCP-240-004 emerged and attacked all personnel at the sight. Nothing found so far can hurt SCP-240s “sides” but neutralizing SCP-240 has shown to stop the “sides” aggression.

SCP-240 itself has been studied immensely in how durable it and its “sides” are and though looking and acting like a human, SCP-240 can survive under conditions most humans cannot survive. This, in part, can be attributed to SCP-240-004, the so called “creative side” of SCP-240. Whenever SCP-240 seems to be in any sort of harms way, SCP-240-004 can manipulate the world around SCP-240 and keep it safe. How SCP-240-004 does this is still unclear and all tests have been declared failures.

It is also found that SCP-240-001, SCP-240-002, SCP-240-003, SCP-240-004, and SCP-240-005 are indestructible with current technologies and weapons and can only be neutralized if SCP-240 is sedated or unconscious.

SCP-240-001, SCP-240-002, SCP-240-003, SCP-240-004, and SCP-240-005 cannot be viewed by the naked eye except SCP-240 and chances of viewing them vary randomly. Video equipment are the most common method of viewing them, however, it is not a definite way of viewing these creatures. Thermal scanners cannot pick up 001-005 and oftentimes, the thermal cameras stop working soon after. The cause of this is currently unknown.

SCP-240-001 is known as the “emotional/moral side” that is roughly the same size as SCP-240. It wears a blue polo shirt and khaki pants that appear to not be apart of 001’s body. It wears corrective frames and claims to not be able to see even though tests have concluded that the corrective frames contain no actual lenses, only frames. SCP-240-001 itself is classified as safe euclid. 001 can manipulate a human’s positive emotions and can also change one’s morality. A human originally against the thought of killing can have their mind changed and as a result, wish to kill anyone in sight if SCP-240-001 wishes so. However, 001 is considered a euclid because it seems to not want to create conflict and has only been truly hostile in Incident 2-401. Giving SCP-240-001 stuffed animals calms it down considerably if personnels do not wish to sedate SCP-240.

SCP-240-002 is known as the “anxious/flight or fight side” that appears an inch taller than SCP-240. SCP-240-002 wears a black hoodie with purple patches and ripped jeans that are not apart of its actual body. It also has black smudges under its eyes, though it is unknown if this is apart of its body or if it is makeup. SCP-240-002 is classified as a euclid bordering on keter status. 002 can cause extreme paranoia in a subject, resulting in the subject to become sleepless and terrified of anything. Hallucinations are common symptoms of 002 when it is highly aggressive. SCP-240 appears unaffected of being around 002 even for extended periods of time. SCP-240-002 is known to be aggressive if any personnel tries to approach SCP-240 in a threatening manner. Pop music should almost always be played along with recordings of SCP-240-002 whenever SCP-240 needs to be approached with 002 out. See Incident 2-402.

SCP-240-003 is known as the “logical/curious side” that appears slightly shorter than SCP-240. Much like SCP-240-001, 003 wears corrective frames without the actual lenses but also claims it cannot see without them. It wears a black polo with a blue striped tie around its neck and blue jeans. SCP-240-003 is classified as a keter. Unlike 001 and 002, 003 seems willing to destroy a subjects mind with little guilt or hesitation. SCP-240-003 can destroy a subjects mind with a glance if it wishes to and erase all memories of a subject. Oftentimes, SCP-240-003 is calm until either someone says a false statement or “falsehood” as it likes to claim, or if any personnel tries to approach SCP-240-003 in any way. Along with 001 and 002, 003 cannot be directly harmed but can be stopped/taken down if SCP-240 is unconscious. It is recommended to give SCP-240-003 books if it wishes but only those that are approved by those of Level 3 personnel or higher. When SCP-240-003 is angered, do not under any circumstances approach SCP-240 or SCP-240-003. Several attempts to do so has resulted in two personnel deaths and seven personnels memory being completely wiped. Despite aggressiveness, it is currently being looked into whether SCP-240-003 can be tamed and used for the foundations benefit.

SCP-240-004 is known as the “creative/romantic/egocentric side” and is two inches shorter than that of SCP-240. It normally wears a king’s outfit reminiscent of Disney prince costumes, with it being all white with gold epaulettes and a bright red sash that goes across its chest from its right shoulder. It wears black slack and has been seen to sometimes wear eyeshadow or different outfits depending on its “mood”. SCP-240-004 is classified as a high level euclid bordering on keter. SCP-240-004 is extremely hard to calm down once it is worked into a frenzy. Hurting SCP-240 seems to cause this extreme aggression and can result in fatal encounters. When personnel were sent to capture SCP-240, SCP-240-004 along with SCP-240-002 were highly aggressive and hostile towards personnel members. SCP-240-004, when out, has been known to transform SCP-240′s containment cell into very small forests or other forms of nature. How this achieved is still unknown. However, 004 can only expand its power as far as the cell walls or whatever SCP-240 is being held in at the time. Many personnel claim to be able to hear SCP-240-004 sing all throughout the foundation and are drawn to its singing much like those of the sirens and sailors of myth. Oddly enough, SCP-240-004′s singing as been observed to calm down several other SCP’s throughout the foundation no matter the song. No actual audio recording of 004 singing has been recorded as the audio turns to static as soon as the recording is done. Dr. ******* has suggested that training/taming SCP-240-004 will benefit the foundation greatly with calming the keter/euclid SCPs that are dangerous for personnel.

SCP-240-005 is known as the “lying/deceitful side” and is the same height as SCP-240-003. SCP-240-005 wears a black button top with yellow buttons and a black cape with yellow trimming. It is often seen wearing a hat of some kind. Unlike any of the other SCP-240s, SCP-240-005 is has traits similar that to an unknown type of venomous snake. The left side of its body is covered in dark green scales and yellow scales. Its left eye has an oblong shape with pointed ends, much like a poisonous snake. It has also been observed that it has a forked tongue and claws that can slice through human skin easily. SCP-240-005 is classified as a Euclid. SCP-240-005 is similar to SCP-240-001 and SCP-240-003 in that it can manipulate a subject’s mind and twist lies into truths. It was even able to persuade a guard into freeing SCP-240 but it was quickly apprehended. SCP-240-005 can only manipulate someone if they are within sight of each other. 005 is the most common one found with SCP-240 and often transforms into a large snake and curls around SCP-240. The venom from 005 is lethal and before the victim dies, acts like a truth serum and the victim cannot lie no matter what. SCP-240-005 is to not be approached under any circumstances.
