I love how in the livestream Thomas reads a username and gives a mini lil speech on how he knows them “oh I loved your cosplay, ____! You were wearing Logan’s new cap!” Or “I saw your Instagram page and it has been two years since you started making those funny edits of me!” Or whatever. Like darn, Thomas how do you have such a good memory to remember all of these usernames and what they make for you geez???- he’s so kind I’m gonna cry-
Thomas is an angel who we do not deserve and should cherish
Depending on what you’re going for. If you want to publish it traditionally then you’ll have to either get an agent or send cold manuscripts. You might be able to publish through a small independent publisher but they’re hard to find.
Self publishing is legit. I wrote a couple of books as a teenager thru LuLu.com and wrote some guides on how to do it. If you are looking at going thru the self publishing route, I used to get paid to format and publish peoples books for print on LuLu.com so HMU!!
Feel free to message me if you have more questions 💖
Here’s a link to the guide I wrote: it’s incomplete but I wrote it some four years ago lol
Oh yeah, LuLu doesn’t require a tax file number or anything, they pay the revenue straight to your PayPal account. You can publish from anywhere in the world that way. Amazon createspace requires you to have an American tax number and you’ll be required to fill out a shittone of forms. LuLu doesn’t ask for any of that.
Omg I’m a dumbass and keep forgetting to include things. LuLu also has paperback options. Here’s the first print copy of my first book that I published in 2014. I carried this thing around with me for MONTHS and it managed to dodge getting burned with the rest of my house in 2016. LuLu is fucking great. I think this trim size cost me $11AUD to buy, and I was selling it for $20AUD so I made $9 revenue off each copy sold.
