Yeah Tumblr’s shenanigans completely made us stop spreading word about it…
Reminder that there are other websites that will get affected by article 13, and even if Tumblr goes under, we still have other sites to lose…
It will affect all of us. No matter where you live, the websites will have to adjust to Europe so this “I’m not from Europe” won’t help ya. Spread the word, urge your European followers and mutuals to act before it’s too late…
(I’m not European so I don’t know the links to apply so… any European willing to help? XD)
But, but… what happens if Euro and EU fall apart?
Maybe it won’t matter anymore.
Honestly? Don’t think so. Countries have a hard time getting rid of new rules… Especially when they were made by a union, and now they aren’t a part of it. We all know politics are a mess, rule-making isn’t any different…
So apparently, posts are just disappearing out of thin air. That’s greaaat.
Hmm. I hate to jinx myself but it looks I am?? safe from it so far??
I saw a post from @ironwoman359 on my dashboard about a series of messages @vigilantvirgil DM’d her. Which is basically:
So it’s possible for any people who reblogged @thelogicalloganipus‘s open letter that their posts might start disappearing on them. It might have something to do with the fact that the post was flagged by the bots?? I’d thought i would pass the information along, since I’m still not seeing Taylor’s posts outside my dashboard and there is numerous people who are dealing with this issue right now.
It’s affecting other communities too, not just fanders and not just people who reblogged Thelo’s post…it just so happens since we’re a smallish fandom a lot of our blogs who had that problem reblogged that letter. The posts aren’t vanishing, they’re still visible in the archives, and even on your blog, but you have to go waaaaay back, tumblr for some reason is throwing them behind a bunch of old posts.
