What a wonderful initiative! Spread the word.

holy shit, spread this like wildfire guys before November

one of the biggest and most devious tools being used against voters now is that voting locations for lower income neighborhoods and neighborhoods that are primarily black or hispanic are suddenly closed down, in the middle of nowhere, or only open for 4 hours a day

do whatever you can to help negate that being a barrier

OK.

I’M UPSET NOW, AND I’M GOING TO CURSE A LITTLE.

Because on this fine and fabulous Friday, I am seeing W A Y too much anon hate on my fucking dash. From someone being WAY too emotionally invested in and combative about why the fandom puts Patton in cute fluffy dresses a lot (to someone who isn’t even an artist, btw, so wtf is up with that?) to somebody straight up just sending weak-ass mean comments to someone for no goddamn reason. And I am sick of it.

If you cannot have a discussion about a fandom trend you’re seeing without being condescending, combative, and cruel, then keep your damn mouth shut. And if you don’t have anything better to do than send nonsensical insults to people on the internet, then you should get a different hobby. Something that doesn’t require a lot of talking. I suggest golf, or fishing.

The anon button is not for spreading hate messages or being as condescending as you want without repercussion. It is for people who are anxious to send messages, people with side-blogs who don’t want to send asks from their main, and people without tumblr accounts.

If you’ve ever been sent pointless anon hate, I’m sorry. That is not fair, not your fault, and you deserved better.

If you’ve ever sent anon hate, take a step back and think about what you’ve done. I know third graders with more compassion than you. And that’s saying something, cuz my third graders are a bunch of tiny monsters 50% of the time.

Hey hey hey look at that, it’s another Friday and lo and behold this is relevant again. Friendly (or not so friendly) reminder that if you think it is any kind of acceptable to send mean messages to people on the internet for whatever reason you can just go right ahead and leave my blog and never come back.
