Aight it’s late, but I have the attention span of a goldfish so let me just yell this idea to y’all.

So I’m a cheap sucker for a soulmate au- and Ik there are 200 of them in varying degrees of ridiculousness and I’m about to add to that.

Soulmate AU where after your 18th birthday you wake up in your soulmate’s bedroom and spend a day there. (Not in their body, but literally teleported to their soulmate’s bed) All you have to figure out who they are is their small eclectic hoard of belongings, and furnishing tastes. 

-Virgil waking up one day in a big plush bed that’s LITTERED with stuffed animals and everything is pastel and bright, with lots of photos and motivational notes to keep going, and tries to decipher as much as he can about his soulmate through the piles of old keepsakes, and photo albums that are scattered around.

-Logan who has to spend a day in this giant regal bedroom, that’s an absolute MESS and looks like an artistically inclined tornado ripped through it. He decides while he’s rummaging to find out more clues about his soul mate he might as well tidy up.

-Patton who wakes up in a immaculate, plain bedroom where everything is super neat and impersonal. The only things that show even an OUNCE of what his soulmate is like is a bunch of bookshelves on the far wall that are absolutely PACKED with everything from complex calculus and astrology, to every single copy of the Star Wars books, and the entire doctor who written anthology. 

-Roman who is HORRIFIED to wake up in this dark garish room that looks like a halloween store threw up in it. He’s pilfering every corner looking for anything that he can use to connect to his soulmate and feels absolutely elated when he finds a notebook of poetry and short stories and a bunch of instruments.

The next day when they all expect to wake up in their own beds again, only to find that the order is switched up and they have more than one soulmate because I am LAMP/CALM GARBAGE.
