Not to forget the 30,000 people disappeared by Pinochet’s regime in Chile. The US-backed coup there took place 11th September 1973 and lead to 17 years of fascist dictatorship, with many people killed, raped and or tortured in Chilean prisons.

To add US casualties to OP’s stats, from 2001 to 2016, 7,000 US troops were killed and 52,000 wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.
By 2015, 1,600 US vets had undergone a major limb amputation.
By 2014, 327,000 vets had been diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries and 700,000 vets were significantly disabled.
A 2016 Brown University report noted the amount spent on so-called anti-terrorism wars since 2001 is nearly $5 TRILLION.
Even a conservative 2014 estimate by Harvard put the cost at min $75,000 per US household.
Yet universal healthcare and free access to clean water are not considered human rights.
