Virgil: DON’T GO IN THERE!

Patton: But…. I want to see the cat… 😦

Okay but picture if you will: 

Patton enters the building, the others following. Sure enough, demons and abominations from deepest hell emerge, surrounding everyone. Teeth gnash and eyes glow evilly. The sides huddle together as their doom rises around them, ready to attack. This is the end. 

But then, abruptly, all of the demons freeze. Their eyes widen in terror and they begin to shake. The other sides look up and see Patton, standing all, his hands curled into fists. His eyes are deep burning embers of cold fire. 

He steps forward to the largest of the demons, which cowers back in fear, shrinking pathetically. 

“I was promised,” Patton utters, voice low and calm and deadly, “there would be a cat.”
